Was Dumbo and Disney Shorts Before Movie

The title card of a Donald Duck short film; the design is typical of those used in Disney shorts during the studio's partnership with RKO Radio Pictures (1937-1956)

This is a list of animated short films produced by Walt Disney, Walt Disney Productions and Laugh-O-Gram Studio from 1921 to 1969. A list of shorts starting from the 1970s can be found here.

This list does not include:

  • Short films originally released as part of full length package films and later re-released individually (see List of Disney theatrical animated features)
  • Short films which contain live action if less than half of the film is animated (see List of Disney live-action shorts)
  • Short films which contain no new animation (e.g. re-edited versions)
  • Cartoons made for a television series, such as Mickey Mouse Works or House of Mouse
  • Pixar short films

The column headed "DVD Release" contains DVD releases in the United States, although the "Walt Disney Treasures" collection is also available in the United Kingdom.
